7 Central Florida Wedding Venues I’ve Loved Photographing
Choosing your venue is one of the first big decisions you'll make, and it shapes everything from your guest list to your photos. As a Central Florida wedding photographer, I've had the joy of photographing weddings at each of these venues with Created by Patty, so I can tell you what they're really like on the day, light and all. Here are seven of my favorite Central Florida wedding venues, from DeLand to New Smyrna Beach.
Villa Festa, DeLand
A Tuscan-inspired private estate just steps from Downtown DeLand, with lush gardens, warm stucco walls and terra cotta rooflines. The courtyard ceremony space is surrounded by greenery, and the palm-lined backyard glows at golden hour. The getting-ready suites have beautiful natural light, too.
Granville Farms, Lake Helen
A 22-acre property surrounded by tall pines and wide open land. The 7,000+ square foot barn holds up to 200 guests, with air conditioning, a fireplace, bridal and groom suites and a rustic porch, plus outdoor ceremony spots set in nature. There are great photo locations all over the property.

Whitewood Ranch, De Leon Springs
Tall trees and filtered light make this one feel like an enchanted forest. The outdoor ceremony area mixes greenery and natural wood, and the spacious indoor space doubles as a rain plan or reception. Portrait spots are just steps from everything, and the golden hour light is magic.

A clean white exterior that glows in the Florida light, with bright, open spaces and airy, classic décor. I love its clean lines and the mix of indoor and outdoor spaces, which look beautiful in every season.

Club Lake Venue, Apopka
Natural greenery, rustic details and plenty of open space, with getting ready, the ceremony, portraits and the reception all on one property. You get a lot of variety in your gallery without ever leaving the venue.
